A fly wheel for recorder comprises a plastic pulley and a metal plate being an additional weight. The larger sheave of the pulley has two protruding lands near inner circumference on the surface thereof. The metal plate provides with riveting recesses at the positions corresponding to protruding lands. The ends of the protruding lands are extended from the riveting recesses and deformed, so that metal is riveted and fixed with the pulley. Comparing conventional fly wheel for recorder, said fly wheel is simple in construction, its cost is lower and it can be assembled with facility.
