A signal decoding device for unraveling or de- nesting of bytes of frame-wise input data includes a write address generator (10), a read address generator (20) and a storage device (30), such as a static write-read memory (SRAM) with a 4-Kbyte capacity, which receives an input signal of parity verified C1-coded data with a 28-byte frame, from the write-read generator (10), with subsequent reading of an output signal from the memory device (30) in the form of a C2-code with a 28-byte frame with an input byte parameter K1 and a line difference parameter D applied to the write address A1. The write address is expressed as A1 = (I1-D).28+K1; the starting input-frame parameter being I1=108, the starting input-byte parameter K1=0 and the starting line-difference parameter D=0.
