The nozzle member(10) is formed as a body of revolution about a central axis with a cross section that varies in diameter along this axis. The wall structure has multiple cooling channels(11) for a coolant to flow. The wall structure has a bell shaped continuous sheet metal wall(14) with multiple elongate tubes(15) welded to the wall(14) to provide the cooling channels(11). Each tube runs parallel to the nozzle axis from inlet(12) to exit(13) and is curved to conform to the wall contour. |
