An image system for a vehicle, to provide a forward view of the road ahead when overtaking, comprises a monitor (1) for mounting in a position, such as on the dashboard (2), to display an image to the driver, and a camera (3) mounted on a side of the vehicle, such as in the housing (4) of the wing or door mirror, and facing forwardly to provide the monitor with a forward view of the road. |
