Toothed roller water wheel comprises a rotating roller (4a) positioned on a rigid axis (9); guiding pipes (6, 7) for receiving the axis on its outer sides; and a current generator (5) in the inner region of the roller. Preferred Features: The current generator is located inside the roller on a plate fixed to the rigid axis and is driven using a constant number of turns. The generator is connected to a cable which is fed through the axis into the outer region of the roller. The cable is connected to an electrolyzer which converts the current into hydrogen. Hydrogen obtained in the electrolysis unit is introduced to a hydrogen tank via a compressor.
