The jaw model has a base (1) fitted with a curved jaw (2) having at least one opening for reception of a removable dental insert (4), with a number of interchangable dental inserts stored in storage chambers (11) provided in the underside of the base, so that the bottom surface (12) of each stored dental insert lies flush with the bottom surface (13) of the base.
