The bush has a base plate with web having an internal thread, and an access aperture for the thread in the plate. A second internal thread (16) with a larger diameter (d2) is located in front of the first thread (14) with a smaller diameter (d1). The bush is for fastening of a component of a motor vehicle, e.g. an axle support, engine support, engine, or axle. The smaller internal thread is for the component, and the larger thread is for transportation of a carrier to transport a component during manufacture. Both threads have the same pitch.
