<p>A compact disc in which there is a distribution of materials forming the disc which is other than uniform. This is described as being attributable in one case to electronic components being with the disc and in another case there is described a three dimensional shape which is other than planar. There is also described such an arrangement also with a non circular periphery. A balancing of the disc to facilitate use in a reader where the disc is to be rotationally driven except where there is a carrier in which the disc nests so that it is a combination that is balanced.</p> |
