The frame for stages of scaffolding comprises a vertical upright (2) fitting onto the corresponding upright of an underlying frame. A strut (3) connects the upright to a vertical semicircular gutter (4) provided with a locking latch (8). The gutter is able to engage laterally, by pivoting around the upright, and be locked on the upright of a neighboring frame.
