A distribution cable module comprises: a front housing 14 having apertures 16; a circuit board 18 having at least one array of contacts 19 on one surface and connector jacks 17 on the other, the jacks being received in the apertures 16 of the front housing 14; a rear housing 21 defining an area for containing the circuit board; a latching system on the housings retaining them together; and locks for the latches.
