The gear shift housing insert (17) has two bearing brackets (28,29) on each side of the link (22) and in the longitudinal direction of the gear shafts (14,25). The two drag bearings (23,24) are each positioned on one of the bearing brackets. The end of the gearshift housing insert facing away from the bearings (19) for the sliding selector shaft (12) is fixed by at least one detachable support (31,32) in the directions at right angles to the gear shafts in relation to the second housing part (27).
