METHOD FOR LIMITING MODE ACCORDING TO CLERK OF CASH REGISTER

PURPOSE: A method for limiting a usable mode according to a sales clerk by storing a clerk number and usable mode information preset to each sales clerk on a RAM and then limiting the clerk's usable mode is provided. It has an effect on easily preventing the sales clerk from illegal use by the alteration of a mode key and reproduction of another type of mode key. CONSTITUTION: The limiting of a usable mode for a sales clerk is achieved as follows: storing a clerk number according to a sales clerk and information about usable registration, accounts, checking modes in a usable mode information storage area according to a sales clerk allocated on a RAM; determining whether the present mode coincides with the mode allocated for a clerk who wants to use a cash resister; storing the number of the relevant clerk in the usable mode information storage area according to the sales clerk after identification of whether there is a new or changed request on the clerk number if the present mode does not coincide with the mode allocated for the clerk; and performing a mode operation in case where the present mode is a mode in which the clerk can use.
