An actuator for use in CD or DVD players/recorders comprises a holder plate (22b) which has bent portions (23,24) as magnet holders and openings (27,28) for receiving magnet return closings, the latter being bent portions of a base plate. Both holder and base plate are rigidly fixed between each other.
