The switched valve plate (2) is pivoted relative to a housing (1) for controlling a valve opening (11) provided in the housing, the upper side of the valve plate provided with a rib (4) extending parallel to its longitudinal axis, for cooperating with a housing wall (20) or a similar rib of a second valve plate, to provide a hollow channel. This has an opening (13) at one end which is coupled to a pressure generator for providing a pressure which deforms the rib to release it from a stop edge (18) of the housing wall or the cooperating rib, so that the valve plate can move into the open position.
