PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fitting holes from being made oblong ones due to overload of a basket or garbage applied to fitting bolts, to prolong the life of the basket, and also to prevent the generation of vibration or noise by reinforcing fitting hole parts perforated in right and left end plates of the basket by boss parts. SOLUTION: An endless carrier chain spread between upper and lower sprockets is rotated, and a basket attached to the carrier chain is rotated. After, with the rotation, garbage is scooped up from an intake path and is filtered out to catch it, it is made to fall into a garbage trough to collect it. In this case, on the side of at least one face of a fitting hole part 12 pierced in an end plate 10 of the basket, a reinforcing boss part 17 is provided projectingly by welding or the like. A bolt 14 is inserted into fitting holes 16a, 16b of a pair of link plates 11a, 11b opposite to each other forming the carrier chain, a collar 13 for keeping an interval, and a fitting hole part 12 to tighten it by a nut 15.
