PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the execution of printing that is not intended by a user. SOLUTION: When the same editing function, capable of being set through both of a document producing application 10A and a printing driver 10B, exists, a prohibiting mark is added to an indication by a method wherein the indication of the editing function on a property window is grayed out or the indication itself is omitted so that the setting of the editing function will not be effected through the printer driver 10B.
