<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact a tray group when a sheet processing device is not used, and to enlarge a space between trays during the use, by allowing shift and rotation from a standby attitude where the trays are aligned in a short pitch to a tilting using attitude where the trays are aligned in a long pitch, and vice versa. SOLUTION: A sorter 40 is constructed so that a square tubular bellows 43 is connected to a tray group 42, and the tray group 42 can be driven from a vertical standby attitude (solid line) where trays in the group are aligned in a short pitch in parallel to a using attitude (two-dot chain line), tilting by substantially 30 degrees, where the trays in the group are aligned in a long pitch. During the using attitude, discharged image paper is fed to a right route 15 or a left route 17 with a partition of a conveying passage 14, and respectively discharged to an upper tray 16 and the sorter 40. During the standby attitude (the trays are closed), only feed to the right route 15 is selected.</p> |
