PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball shooting machine with a high visual effect capable of shooting a large quantity of balls at a high speed and at the same time and letting a player fully enjoy watching the shooting of the balls. SOLUTION: This ball shooting machine consists of a cup-shaped ball receiver with an opening at the center of the bottom from which balls fall down, a horizontal high-speed rotating disk 12, which is coaxial with the ball receiver and rotatably mounted on the inner center of the ball receiver, a device for drivably rotating the high-speed rotating disk 12, a nearly cylindrical barrier board device 15a, 15b mounted along the outer surrounding rim on the upper side of the high-speed rotating disk 12, a device for opening/closing a ball control door 15b of the barrier board device, and a device for feeding a prescribed quantity of balls to the high-speed rotating disk 12 when necessary. At least a part of the barrier board device 15a, 15b is made to be the ball control door 15b, which can be opened/closed between the closed position where many balls rolling on the high-speed rotating disk are restricted and the opened position where those balls are released to the inside of the ball receiver.
