POWDER COATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of forming a coating film having a uniform hue, excellent clarity and luster by making the composition include a powder coating material having plural different hues and a compatibilizer having a specific solubility parameter. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a powder coating material having two or more kinds of different hues and (B) a compatibilizer [preferably a compound of the formula (R is a 2-3C alkylene; (x) and (y) are each a positive number and the sum of (x) and (y) is 1-10)] having a solubility parameterδc satisfying the relation of the formulaδa>=δc>=δb when the maximum value in solubility parameters of a resin contained in the component A isδa and the minimum value isδc in the total or a part of the component A and/or together with the component A. The component A is preferably a powder coating material having characteristics of not being heat cured at <=250 deg.C but being heat cured at <=250 deg.C by mixing the component A with another kind of powder coating material and coating. The component A preferably contains an epoxy resin-containing powder coating material and a polyester resin-containing powder coating material.
