PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and workability by mutually retaining the adjacent block pieces of a block structure, in which the block pieces are superposed, by fixed retaining structure. SOLUTION: A large number of cubiform hollow block pieces B1 is superposed while the projecting sections P1 of the blocks B1 on the lower side are fitted into the recessed sections H1 of the blocks B1 on the adjacent upper side, thus constituting the block structure. Engaging sections are formed to adjacent both block pieces in place of the fitting of the projecting sections P1 to the recessed sections H1 of the blocks 1, and these engaging sections are engaged, thus configuring the block structure. Alternatively, the adjacent block pieces are mutually connected and fixed by fixtures such as bolts and nuts or the like, thus organizing the block structure. Further alternatively, the adjacent block pieces are mutually connected and fixed by connectors such as dowels, thus constructing the block structure. Thus, the durability of the block structure can be improved, and carrying-in efficiency onto a field of the block pieces can be enhanced, and the block pieces in the case of carrying in and the case of installation or the like can be handled easily.
