PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front sub-frame structure having no difference in deformed amount between a main plate and an upper cover when bending or twisting load acts, and mitigating stress concentration caused at a welding end part. SOLUTION: This front sub-frame 18 consists of a main plate 4 and a cover 5 covering the top surface of the main plate 4 coupled with each other by welding, and is mounted on the side member of a ladder-shaped frame. A collar 21 with rectangular cross section is mounted between the main plate 4 and the upper cover 5 at a position toward the side member, and the main plate 4 and the upper cover 5 are connected to the collar 21 by welding.
