PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide braking status judgment means capable of surely judging as to whether a brake pedal is quickly depressed or not without requiring any special sensor and a control device performing a longitudinal braking force distribution according to the judgment results. SOLUTION: A device comprises wheel speed detection means WS detecting the wheel speeds of a front wheel Wf and a rear wheel Wr and front and rear wheel speed difference calculation means DF calculating a wheel speed difference between the front wheel Wf and rear wheel Wr. Based on results detected by brake operation detection means OB detecting the operation of the brake pedal BP and on the results of calculation by the front and rear wheel speed difference calculation means DF, braking status judgment means BD judges as to whether the quick depressing operation of the brake pedal BP is performed or not. Based on the results of judgment by brake pedal quick depression judgment means SB and according to an output detected by the wheel speed detection means WS, a longitudinal braking force distribution control device drives a hydraulic control device FV to adjust the braking force of the rear wheel Wr relative to that of the front wheel Wf to a specified relation.
