PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent trouble concerning to the fixing method of a dial knob or the operation miss thereof. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 8 fixed with a dial knob 10a penetrates a circular pan type bearing part 19 jointed to a housing 9a and rotates smoothly about the central axis 18 of the dial knob 10a. An inner wall 15 is formed on the circumferential part 14a of a hole made in the housing 9a while directing toward the inside thereof. The dial knob 10a is stopped to the inner wall of the housing 9a by means of a plurality of claws 11 and turns to the left and right without being removed from the housing 9a. Center of rotation of the rotary shaft 8, bearing part 19 and dial knob 10a is aligned with that of the circumferential part 14a of the hole and since the gap is constant between the outer circumferential surface of the dial knob 10a and the outer circumferential part 14 of the hole in the housing 9a, there is no possibility of rubbing. Furthermore, intrusion of water or dust from the outside of a printer can be reduced significantly because the bearing part 19 is jointed to the housing 9a.
