PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a ceramic green sheet capable of suppressing a change in a film thickness of the sheet to a small value even by changing a coating speed. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a ceramic green sheet comprising the steps of discharging a ceramic slurry 4 from a nozzle port 3a between an upstream side lip 3b and a downstream side lip 3c disposed at an interval to a surface 1 to be coated of the continuously traveling sheet supported at its back surface, and molding the sheet; the relationship between a distance Hu between the lip 3b and the surface 1 and a distance Hd between the lip 3c and the surface is set to become 5>Hu/Hd>=1.3.
