PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically opening an opening valve without giving an uncomfortable feeling to a user in the middle of a drying operation when the user happens to stand on the front surface side of a dryer product. SOLUTION: An openable opening 17 having an opening/closing valve 16 which communicates with the outside air is provided in the middle of a circulating air path of a dehumidifying type dryer. Then, air which is discharged from a release valve is controlled in a manner to be discharged in an optional direction by an air discharging control plate 15. By changing the flowing direction of the discharged air to an approx. right angle, or adopting a control method by which the air can be discharged in an optional direction, and a slide type opening/closing valve, an uncomfortable feeling becomes hard to generate even when the release valve is provided on the front surface of the dryer.
