摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the volume of water storage and the loss of a foam stock solution to the minimum possible extent and to reduce an equipment cost by providing a foam head with a thermosensitive actuation member which normally presses a value to a discharge port and is dissolved and melted to release the pressing by the heat in the event of a fire and a means for taking or sucking air into a foam extinguishing liquid to foam the liquid. SOLUTION: When the temperature rises to the specified or higher temperature at the outbreak of the fire, the thermosensitive actuation member 25 is decomposed and dissolved and the pressing state to a valve disk 35 in common use for diffusion is released. A valve 24 is pushed forward by the pressure of the foam extinguishing liquid by accompanying the same and the valve disk 35 in common use for diffusion is detached and moved forward from the discharge port 28 based on the guide of a bearing 37 until the valve disk arrives at the top of the central part of a deflector 23. A valve stem member 36 slides forward in the bearing 37 and the front end 36a abuts on a front end central part 32a of a guard frame 32. The advance operation of the valve 24 stops. As a result, the discharge port 28 is fully opened to discharge the foam extinguishing liquid which comes into collision against a curved surface 35a acting as diffusion, by which the foam extinguishing liquid is uniformly diffused to four ways. The foam extinguishing liquid foams by taking the air therein at the time of passing a net 22 for foaming and uniformly sprinkles the foam to the surroundings.
