PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable exchange of a worn portion of a horn for ultrasonic and electrical operation. SOLUTION: The horn 10 comprises a horn body 13 and a tip 20. The tip 20 can be freely attached and detached to or from the body of the horn 13. The tip 20 is provided with a member engaging with a fitting. The outer surface of the tip 20 and that of the horn 13 is continuous and gives good transmission of the ultrasonic waves. An operator may also judge whether attachment of the tip has been forgotten or not by comparing the actually transmitted frequency with the preset frequency.
