PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of firmly holding a rod body, excellent in decorativeness, and capable of providing a light-weight feeling in appearance. SOLUTION: This fishing rod has a rod-like frame 1 made from carbon, a grip part G formed on the outer periphery of the frame 1 in a state in which the tip part of the frame 1 is protruded, a rod body 12 inserted from the tip of the frame and fixed, and a front grip 11 in a shape of a cylinder fixed at the tip of the frame 1 in the inserted state of the rod body 12. The rod body 12 can be firmly held, and the fishing rod is excellent in decorativeness and can provide light-weight feeling in appearance because the frame 1 is protruded from the grip part G and sufficient length is secured.
