摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an asymmetrical dialkyl carbonate hardly causing the deterioration of a catalyst even if the reaction is continued for a long time. SOLUTION: This method for producing an asymmetrical dialkyl polycarbonate by an ester-interchange reaction between different kinds of symmetrical dialkyl carbonates in the presence of a solid catalyst containing an oxide of an element selected from group III elements (the short period periodic table) comprising lanthanide, scandium and yttrium, comprises bringing the solid catalyst separated from a liquid produced by the reaction into contact with an alcohol, and reusing resultant solid catalyst in the ester-interchange reaction.
