PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding airtight door device which creates no step on the floor when the door is open, and which has airtight performance when the door is closed. SOLUTION: This sliding airtight door device includes door pressing mechanisms for pressing a door 2 against a front frame while interlocking with a door closing operation, and an airtight plate pressing mechanism for pressing an airtight plate against the lower surface of the door in response to a door closing operation by rising from a floor which is flat when the door is open. Further, the door pressing mechanisms include an upper pressing mechanism for pressing the upper part of the door 2 forward by use of the eccentric shaft of a hanger, a lower right pressing mechanism for pressing the lower right side of the door forward along a guide plate 9 stood on the floor behind the frame, and a lower left pressing mechanism wherein a projecting roller 12 projecting from the floor face while interlocking with closing of the door 2 enters a guide groove in the lower surface of the door and presses the door forward along the guide groove.
