PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide various shaped construction members by coating a reinforcing metal plate with a synthetic resin to form a construction member body, and forming an additional part formed integrally on the construction member body by only the synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A projected curve part 2 is formed of only a synthetic resin, and a decorative cover A1 is formed by the extrusion molding of the synthetic resin to insert a metal plate 3 into only the part of a decorative cover body 7a. In this case, in order to insert and reinforce the metal plate 3, the forming of the metal plate 3 is facilitated, and even when the shape of an additional part 8 is changed, the common metal plate 3 is used. A metal mold forming the metal plate 3 is standardized to reduce the investment in the metal mold. In addition, even when extrusion molding is performed, it can cope therewith only by modifying a block type mold of an additional part 8 of an extrusion mold. Thereby the shape of a construction member body 7 inserting the metal plate 3 is standardized to form various shaped construction members A, and the forming of the metal plate 3 can be facilitated.
