PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a deterioration of processability when a protective member is formed and to assure surface protectiveness on a card base plate in the case of providing to protect a transparent curable protective member on the plate formed with a face image or a character record image. SOLUTION: The ID card comprises a card base plate 11 having a record image formed thereon, and a transparent curable protective layer 12 provided to cover the plate 11 of a record image forming surface side so that a film thickness of the layer 12 is specified to 0.5 to 5.0μm. The thickness of the layer 12 is specified to provide the ID card 100 having excellent surface protectiveness on the plate 11 and excellent scuff resistance (wear resistance) without deteriorating processability when the member is formed.
