PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator type fuel injector improved in responsiveness of injection pressure control by reducing dead volume of fuel within a fuel passage. SOLUTION: In this accumulator type fuel injector, a check valve 23 with a throttle is composed of a base part 51 and a cover part 52 respectively provided with passages 51a, 52a communicating with a branch passage; a side wall part 53 making up the contour of the check valve 23 in combination with the base part 51 and the cover part 52; a check valve 54 energized from the base part 51 toward the cover part 52 by a spring 55 to close the passage 52a of the cover part 52; and an annular projecting part 53a provided on an inner peripheral face of the side wall part 53, not interfering with the base part 51 and the check valve 54 even when the check valve 54 is positioned most on the side of the base part 51 through the inflow of fuel against energizing force of the spring 55. |
