PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground excavator which can prevent consolidation of mud in the lower part of a cutter chamber even if a cutter head is stopped or if the amount or concentration of an additive injected is not appropriate. SOLUTION: In this underground excavator, a cutter head 16 axially supported on eccentric multiple axes and put into parallel link movements is arranged on the front face of a cutter chamber 22 and is driven so that excavated soil flows into the cutter chamber 22 and is removed outside of the lower part of the cutter chamber 22 by a screw conveyor 27 serving as a soil removal device. An agitating device 26 having rotatable agitating bodies (rotating shaft 29 and ribbon screw 38) having the function of moving the excavated soil in excavating direction or in the direction opposite to the excavating direction is provided in the lower part of the cutter chamber 22 and the excavated soil and an additive are agitated and mixed together by the agitating device 26. |
