PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of a water supplying apparatus in cold district and to save the space by housing a drain device and header for cold water and a drain device, connecting pipe and header for hot water in a box containing a heating element. SOLUTION: A cold district water supplying apparatus has a cold water draining valve 14 and cold water header 16 buried at a freezing depth or lower and connected to a water main pipe 12. The lower part of a box 18 is buried in the ground, and a heat insulating material 20 is arranged on the top wall and side wall thereof. A part of a primary piping 12, the cold water draining valve 14 and the cold water header 16 are housed in the box 18. Cold water secondary pipings 22a-30a are extended from the cold water header 16 to each equipment such as hot water supplying machine, sink, or the like. A hot water secondary piping 22b is extended from the hot water supplying machine into the box 18, and connected to a hot water draining valve 32. A hot water header 34 is also arranged in the box 18. The length of the hot water secondary piping 22b is set to the length of the short edge of the box 18 or more to delay the temperature drop within the box 18 by the hot water carried in the hot water secondary piping 22b.
