摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the cleaning of dirt on a metal surface due to abrasion powder by coating photocatalyst titanium oxide on the outer surface of components for a vehicle such as a disc brake and a wheel. SOLUTION: A coating layer 12 of photocatalyst titanium oxide is formed on the outer surfaces of a caliper 1 and a support 2 of a disc brake. If the metal surface of the disc brake becomes dirty due to dispersion of abrasion powder of a brake pad, a ultraviolet ray of the sunlight is irradiated on the metal surface through a through hole 10 of an aluminum wheel 11, the coated photocatalyst titanium oxide brings about catalyst, and the dirt due to the abrasion powder of the brake pad can be resolved in a boundary surface toward the photocatalyst titanium oxide coating layer 12. This constitution can easily remove the dirt by a daily simple cleaning without using any special detergent.
