PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce concentration of an unburnt gas contained in an exhaust gas to an explosion limit and less, and surely prevent explosion in an exhaust gas dust by interposing an agitating device or a catalyst combustion device in an exhaust gas path between a gas engine and an exhaust heat recovery part. SOLUTION: A rotary kiln 3 for necessitating a high temperature as an exhaust heat recovery part is connected to a gas engine 1 of a lean combustion type for rotating a power generator 2 through an exhaust gas path 5. In the rotary kiln 3, a reheating burner 4 for heating an engine exhaust gas of about 500 deg.C to 900 to 1200 deg.C is disposed, and an intake blower 8 is also disposed. In an exhaust gas path (an exhaust gas duct) 5 formed in a zigzag shape, an agitating device 6 is interposed so as to agitate and mix the exhaust gas and unburnt gas by generating a turbulent flow. Accordingly, concentration is sufficiently reduced by uniformly mixing the unburnt gas contained in the exhaust gas, and explosion of the unburnt gas in the exhaust gas duct 5 is surely prevented.
