PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent granular substances from being stuck and deposited onto the surface of magnet rods in a metal removing device by which metal mixed in the granular substances is magnetically attracted by the magnet bars and removed. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a body 10 arranged in a conveying path for granular substances and provided with a granular substance path 17 through which granular substances are passed and plural magnet bars 27 arranged on the body 10 so that they traverse the granular substance path 17. Metal mixed in the granular substances passed through the granular substance path 17 is magnetically attracted by the magnet bars 27 and removed from the granular substances. The device for removing metal is provided with a rotary driving mechanism 14 for rotating at least part of the plural magnet bars 27 around the axis lines N. |
