<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing ink composition capable of maintaining enough adhesion between ink layer and plastic film and also preventing laminate layer from whitening phenomenon due to permeation of the steam, even after, in particular, steam sterilization treatment of metalic cans processed from laminated metal plates. SOLUTION: This printing ink composition is such one as to use (A) carboxyl group-containing phenoxy resin comprising an esterified product from a phenoxy resin and a polybasic carboxylic acid anhydride or (B) a mixture of the above- mentioned carboxyl group-containing phenoxy resin with a phenoxy resin and/or a polyurethane resin, and pref. contain an organic compound having a blocked isocyanate group in the composition. The printing ink composition is suitable, in particular, for gravure printing.</p> |
