PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-leveling material good in hardenability and operability even in a low temperature region, and capable of carrying out a highly accurate leveling by including a norbornene type monomer and a specific catalyst. SOLUTION: This self-leveling material comprises (A) a norbornene type monomer (e.g. norbornene and dicyclopentadiene) and (B) a ruthenium-based metathesis reaction catalyst. The component B is preferably a ruthenium-carbene complex of the formula [Ru is ruthenium; R1 and R2 are each H, a 1-20C (substituted) alkyl, or the like; X1 and X2 are each an anionic ligand; L1 and L2 are each a neutral electron donor; two or three of X1, X2, Ll and L2 may form a multidentate chelate ligand]. The content of the component B based on 1 mol component A is preferably (1/5)-(1/100,000) mol. |
