PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold down the cost-up of a metallic mold by shortening the term from design to manufacture, at the time of manufacturing the metallic mold. SOLUTION: Two forming panels 14, 18 formed with an existing press-die, are beforehand prepared, and a rough pattern is manufactured by roughly cutting a foaming resin block and a first forming panel 14 is covered and stuck on a recessed part in this pattern. The pattern with the forming panel is embedded into molding sand and molten metal is poured into the obtd. sand mold and the pattern portion is replaced into a casting 13. Then, a sticking layer is formed on the forming panel 14 left on the casting 13 after shaking out and a second forming panel 18 is covered and stuck on this sticking layer. In this way, since the metallic mold can be manufactured without using an NC machining tool, the preparation of NC working data and the actual cutting work with the NC machining tool can be saved.
