PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold down the cost-up of a metallic mold by shortening the term from design to manufacture, at the time of manufacturing the metallic mold. SOLUTION: A forming panel 14 formed with an existing press-die is beforehand prepared, and a rough pattern by roughly cutting a foaming resin block is manufactured, and the forming panel 14 is covered on the recessed part in this pattern and the pattern with the forming panel is embedded into molding sand, and molten metal is poured into the obtd. sand mold and the pattern portion is replaced into a casting 13 to obtain a female mold 12. Therefore, since the recessed part can be formed as the same shape as the forming surface of the press-die by covering the forming panel on the recessed part in the pattern, the pattern can be cut without using an NC machine tool.
