PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the installation state of a game machine island wherein a player can enjoy a game and a recessed space is provided at the lower part of the island. SOLUTION: Game machine islands 11 each having a concave space 12 at its lower part for receiving the feet of a player are connected to one another by a roof 16. A suction port 15 of an air conditioner is provided near each Pachinko machine 14. By connecting the adjacent islands 11 by the roof 16, the volume of a passage space 19 is smaller in comparison with that of a conventional island having no roof so that air conditioning efficiency can be improved in comparison with that of conventional islands having no roof. Since noises generated outside the passage space are prevented from coming in by the presence of roof 16, noises in each space 19 can be reduced in comparison with that of the island having no roof. The islands are supported by the roof 16 and hence stabilization of the islands can be improved.
