PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material wherein the thermal response, and the storage stability of an image part are excellent. SOLUTION: In this heat-sensitive recording material containing a normally colorless or slightly colored dye precursor having electron donating property, and an electron accepting compound which develops a color of the dye precursor by reacting when being heated, as the electron accepting compound, 4,41- dihydroxydiphenylsulfone, and other diphenylsulfone derivative represented by a formula (in the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like, R2 and R3 each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or the like, and n and m each are an integer of 1 to 4.), are jointly used. |
