PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability and the reliability of a horizontal type compressor by providing a lubricant pump system having excellent lubricating performance. SOLUTION: A lubricant pump system 20 comprises; an eccentric portion 21 formed on a periphery surface of a driving shaft 4 and provided with a circumference groove 21; an axial in-shaft lubricant passage 25 provided within the driving shaft 4 and connected to the circumference groove 21a through a communicating hole 26; a cylinder portion 24 projecting on a bottom surface and having a lubricant sucking port 24a at a lower end thereof; a connecting rod portion 22 wherein a ring portion 27 is slidably fitted with the eccentric portion 21, and provided with a piston portion 23 reciprocating in the cylinder portion 24 by the rotation of the driving shaft 4; a sucking valve 31 provided on the lubricant sucking port 24a; an in-rod lubricant passage 28 provided on the connecting rod 22; and a discharging valve 29 provided within the in-rod lubricant passage 28. The lubricant pump system 20 sucks lubricant 30 collected in the bottom of a housing from the lubricant sucking port 24a to supply to the axial in-shaft lubricant passage 25.
