PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare for water shortage at the time of disaster by purifying rainwater to be stored by means of a simple and low-cost facility. SOLUTION: An upper water sampling pipe is connected to an upper cut part 2a of a down pipe 2, a lower water sampling pipe 8 is connected to the upper water sampling pipe, and a lower part of it is connected to a lower cut part 2b of the down pipe 2. Rainwater is supplied from a storage part 10 formed between both water sampling pipes to a lower part of a filtration tank 16. An upper part of the filtration tank 16 is connected through a hose 26 to the lower water sampling pipe 8. Plural cloths 36 are installed on a bottom part of a filter 30 slidably engaged and disposed in the filtration tank 16, so rainwater is filtered through the cloths 36, and filter medium in a cylindrical body. Filtered rainwater is stored in one or plural water collecting tanks 48, 50, 52 to be taken out of a hose 66. When sludge is stored in the filtration tank 16, the filter 30 is moved up and down to discharge the sludge from a drain port 28 at a lower part.
