SOLUTION: The thickness of the double structure sections of the tracheotomy catheter is required to be <=0.75 mm and if the thickness is >=0.75 mm, the catheter is heavy and the patient's burden increases. Then, the thinnest possible thickness is more preferable and the thickness of at last 0.3 mm is necessary for the shape retaining property moldability, or its own strength. The diameters of an outer pipe 6 and the inner pipe 5 are similar to the diameter of the ordinary tracheotomy catheter an a space to allow the smooth putting on and out of the inner pipe 5 is necessary. Also, when the double structure sections of the tracheotomy catheter are molded by a synthetic resin, injection molding is possible. The injection molding is possible when the thermoplastic resin having a specific gravity of <=1.0 is used.
