PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable X-ray examination at a comfortable posture needing less movement of eyes of the operator watching the image on a monitor. SOLUTION: A flat display 10 of the apparatus drives a rise-and-fall motor 18 by a rise-and-fall switch 17 of a bed 6 at a X-ray camera station provided on a side of a camera system 2. It then inputs the signal from the angle-readout mechanism 19, which reads the angle of the inclining bed 6, into a driving motor 14 of the flat display 10 and rotates the driving motor 14 by the same angle. Thus, the X-ray images on the display 10 always stand vertical.
