<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension/contraction possible medical stand which is easily operated and is quickly and correctly adjusted to be a desired length. SOLUTION: The stand is the extension/contraction possible one for medical use and is provided with an outer pipe 10, an inner pipe 20 where a hanging part for hanging a blood transfusion or instillator pack is arranged and which is inserted to the outer pipe 10 so as to be freely movable, a metallic core member 30 which is disposed in the inner center of the inner pipe 20 so as to be freely movable in an axial line direction, a pair of braking members 40a and 40b which are rotated with a center shaft 31 arranged in the member 30 as a center and are abutted on or separated from the inner peripheral surface of the outer pipe at the side of its tip part, a mobile member 32 which is arranged in the member 30 and moved in the axial line direction together with the member 30, an energizing member 33 for energizing the mobile member 32 to be normally rotated in a direction for bringing the braking members 40a and 40b into contact with the inner peripheral Surface of the outer pipe 10 and an operating part 60 which is disposed in the inner pipe 20 to operate the mobile member 32.</p> |
