PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote use of correct clips and easily detect residual number of clips by continuously forming clips unifying the openings of bags so as to form a strip and forming a detecting parts at specified positions of the clips and further forming detection parts for positions and shapes different from specified clips. SOLUTION: The clips 1 unifies the opening of a bag storing an article. Engaging holes 3 are formed at both side legs 2, and engaging grooves 4 mutually engaged are formed at the tips of both the side legs 2. The clips 1 is separated one by one while being transferred in a certain direction a. After the opening of a bag has been housed between the legs 2, a dowel is formed at the superimposed position where both legs are crossed with each other and caulked and then, the opening is unified. In this case, another detection hole 10' at a position different from respective detection holes 10 formed in respective clips 1 is formed at a specified position of the specified clip 1' in the vicinity of the terminal end. In this way, correct use and the regidual number of the clips 1 can be easily detected.
